About the game
Is Raid: Shadow Legends free?
The download is free and no payment is required to play. The game sells premium currency, shard bundles, energy refills, limited-time packs and recurring passes as in-app purchases. Prices differ by country and change frequently, so check the store listing rather than any figure on a web page.
Is it pay-to-win?
It depends which half of the game you mean. Solo content — campaign, dungeons, most of the endgame — can be cleared without paying, given time. Ranked competitive play is a different matter: roster depth and gear quality decide it, and both are accelerated substantially by spending. Money buys more chances rather than guaranteed outcomes, but over enough draws that is decisive.
What are the summon drop rates?
They are published inside the game, on the summoning screen, and they vary by shard type and during events. We deliberately do not reprint them: a percentage copied onto a web page becomes false the first time it is adjusted, and a stale number is worse than none.
Can I play offline?
No. The game requires a permanent internet connection; there is no offline mode.
Does it work on PC?
Yes. As well as iOS and Android, it can be played on Windows through the publisher's own desktop client, using the same account.
What age is it suitable for?
It carries an age rating on each store, and ratings are revised over time, so check the listing itself. Independently of the rating, the presence of randomised paid rewards is the thing worth considering before a child plays it — see our responsible play page.
Should I chase Legendary champions?
Not at the expense of building what you already have. A fully ranked, well-geared Rare champion out-performs a neglected Legendary. Rarity sets a ceiling; rank and gear determine what you actually field.
What is the single best thing a new player can do?
Join an active clan on the first day. Clan rewards are free, continuous and substantial, and they are the largest difference between two otherwise identical new accounts.
Can I get a refund on an in-app purchase?
Possibly, through Apple's or Google's own discretionary refund process, which is usually the fastest route — ask promptly. In the EU the statutory 14-day withdrawal right is generally lost once digital content is delivered with your express consent, which is what happens when currency is credited instantly.
Does this site get paid if I install the game?
